Hi, I’m Ali, a Squarespace website designer on a mission to help small service business owners to flourish.
Drawing on my former 16-year marketing and communications career and design education, I bring a blend of creativity, strategy and technical expertise to every project.

How I got here: From design degree to marketing to website design
My journey began in 2003 with a degree in illustration, but my passion for creative communication led me to marketing. Over the years, I built experience in marketing, communications, PR and events, often gravitating towards website projects.
In 2017, I launched my own business, offering outsourced marketing support to small businesses and agencies. In 2023, I transitioned to specialising in Squarespace web design, merging my 16 years of marketing and comms expertise with my design background

Joyful things outside of my cosy office of one
When I’m not crafting websites, I love spending time in nature, reading, journaling and cooking.
Time outdoors – whether walking in my local or my garden – sparks my creativity. While tending to flowers and plants, and watching the garden birds, brings a quiet sense of joy. I relish good food (I mean, who doesn’t?), whether home-cooked or discovered in a great restaurant or coffee shop. And more than anything I value deep conversations and genuine connections with like-minded, introverted and sensitive souls.
The above experiences (especially when combined!), inspire me and are why I truly enjoy working with business owners in the nature, wellness and food industries.
