Content prep
Once we’ve decided to work together, I’ll share my strategic website workbook with you, designed to make all the preparation feel easeful.
You’ll submit your finalised copy, images and graphics, and schedule your website build.
– Step 2 –
Strategy call
We’ll have a video call to discuss the content of your workbook in depth so I can fully understand your your business and vision.
We’ll chat through the goals for your Squarespace website, map your website pages and discuss content and images.
– Step 3 –
Review & edits
I’ll build your website and you’ll provide feedback after the initial homepage design.
I’ll continue building out your Squarespace site and we’ll make any final edits before launch.
– Step 4 –
Launch!
After launching your website (and taking a moment to celebrate), I’ll create a tutorial video so you know how to make edits going forward.
You’ll also have 30 days of post-launch email support.

I recommend you getting a full brand identity, including logo, before we build out your website. Depending on your needs, I may be able to recommend a brand designer.

For planning purposes, I recommend gathering 10-20 photos. These should be a mix of pictures of you and other supplementary images that align with your brand and the services you are offering. Let me know if you need a hand with sourcing photos or image research.

No problemo! I’ll walk you through this stage by providing forms and resources to help you write your own copy. Alternatively, you could choose to work with a copywriter.

No, these are additional features and integrations that can be added after the site is completed.
However, you’ll get access to half day and full day rates where I can help you add more ‘bells and whistles’ to the website we create.

Beyond the website build service, there are a couple of additional costs to keep in mind:
Hosting: You'll need to arrange hosting directly with Squarespace. As a Squarespace Circle Gold member, I can offer you a 20% discount on your first year. View Squarespace pricing.
Domain name: You'll need to purchase a domain name (URL) for your business from a registrar such as Fasthosts, 123 Reg, GoDaddy, or directly through Squarespace.
If you're unfamiliar with the domain registration process, I'm happy to guide you through it.

I schedule website build projects into my calendar only after receiving the copy, branding and images. So there’s no deadline to miss as such. But you’ll probably want to work through your ‘homework’ as quickly as possible so that we can get your website launched.

I will make sure basic SEO settings are in place (site title, description, browser icons, etc).
However, SEO is a separate marketing task that you must undertake after your site is launched.

Yes. If you have an existing website with a blog I can transfer this across to your new website.

It will take around 2-4 weeks to build and launch your website from your start date.
Before building your website, I will have received all of your text, logo/brand information and images.

Payment 1: 20% is due to confirm your project when the contract is signed
Payment 2: The following 40% is due at the start of the project to reserve design dates in my production calendar.
Payment 3: The final 40% is due at project completion.
Please note: Your new website won't be transferred to you until the final payment is settled. Thank you.
